Monitor arms aren't just for desks that require two monitors anymore.

During the earliest days of monitor arms, their uses were mostly confined to mounting two displays side-by-side. This was a great way for creative businesses to greatly expand their on-screen workspace without having to clutter a desk or deal with distracting gaps between the two displays that they were using. Today, this is still one of the main uses associated with monitor arms. It is not, however, the only way that these helpful pieces of hardware can be used in modern businesses. Indeed, adjustable arms today are used for single displays in medical and office environments; they're often considered an excellent way of boosting ergonomics in each space.

Perfect for On-the-Go Professionals

Academic and medical environments are known for needing technology that can be quickly and easily pushed and pulled through corridors into the proper examination room or classroom. All too often, those roving workstations use a monitor that is not secured to the desk in any fashion, putting it at risk of damage. Furthermore, those monitors cannot change their height or position to accommodate the user. That's often a significant problem, as portable workstations often come in shorter heights and smaller sizes overall.
